By Nawaf Al-Deqbasi (with photos) DOHA, Oct 29 (KUNA) -- Kuwait are set to take part in the world military sports body's (CISM) Second International Shotgun Championship in Doha, Qatar which starts on Wednesday.
Three military team shooters will represent Kuwait at the four-day competition beginning on October 30, which is being organised by the Qatar Shooting and Archery Association, chief delegate Col Khaled Al-Enezi told KUNA.
All three will be competing in the skeet and trap categories of the event after receiving training at both the Shooting Range Complex in Kuwait and in Qatar, he added.
The decision to participate in the competition was made by the Kuwait Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Sheikh Khaled Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah and the Armed Forces Deputy Chief-of-Staff Lt Gen Abdulrahman Al-Othman.
The competition is set to be held at Lusail Shooting Club, situated 18km north of Doha, and will witness military shooters from 14 nations. (end) nnd.sd KUNA 291012 Oct 13NNNN
