NEW YORK, Sept 26 (KUNA) -- Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister Sheikh
Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah met Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Abdyldaev Erian
Bekeshovich at the Kuwait Mission to the United Nations on Thursday.
Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Abdyldaev Bekeshovich told KUNA in a statement that
he had suggested to Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled the opening of a Kuwaiti Embassy in
the capital Bishkek to boost political and economic relations between the two
He said Kyrgyzstan opened an embassy in Kuwait last August, and "I
suggested that Kuwait also open its embassy in Kyrgyz republic."
Both officials also agreed that the Kuwaiti foreign minister visits the
Kyrgyz Republic next year, on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the
establishing of diplomatic relations between the two countries, according to
