Seven people killed in blasts in Iraq

BAGHDAD, Aug 31 (KUNA) -- Seven people were killed in different attacks in Baghdad and Anbar provinces in Iraq on Saturday, a police source said.
An explosive device was detonated in southern Baghdad killed three persons and injured seven others, the source told KUNA.
Unknown gunmen opened fire at a group of civilians in northern Baghdad killing one of them and wounding five others, he added.
The same source noted that three Iraqi policemen were killed and six injured when a suicide attacker detonated explosives he was wearing at a checkpoint in Ramadi area in Anbar province. (end) ahh.bs KUNA 312236 Aug 13NNNN
