KUWAIT, Aug 5 (KUNA) -- Doctors at Al-Amiri Hospital in Kuwait have removed
23-kilograms of skin in excess from an obese patient.
Lead surgeon Abdulsamad Abdulsamad said in a statement Monday the operation
took place months after the patient underwent a sleeve gastrectomy surgery,
when he was weighing over 180 kilograms.
The weight drop resulted in excess skin of the abdominal area which reach
the knees thus obstructing the movement of the patient, he said. (end)
