PARIS, July 29 (KUNA) -- France on Monday firmly condemned the attack two
days ago against the Turkish embassy in the Somali capital, Mogadishu, which
killed one Turkish policeman and wounded three others.
France expressed solidarity with the relatives of the victims and with the
Somali and Turkish authorities.
Turkey, like France, is actively involved in helping rebuild the Somali
state which has been devastated by more than 20 years of civil conflict.
"Alongside our partners, France will continue to support the efforts of the
Somali Federal Government to restore peace and security," a Foreign Ministry
statement said here. (end)
