ISLAMABAD, May 12 (KUNA) -- A blast targeting senior police officer killed
four people and wounded over fifty others in Quetta city, southwest Pakistan,
late on Sunday.
A bomb exploded near the house of Inspector General (IG) Balochistan
province Mushtaq Sakhera, said police sources.
The suicidal attack took place on Zarghoon Road and damaged the house
completely, according to the sources.
Local media also reported an exchange of fire between the security forces
and militants.
The security forces have cordoned off the area and the injured people were
shifted to the nearby hospital. (end)
