BRUSSELS, March 20 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Petroleum International (Q8), the
international marketing arm of Kuwait Petroleum Corporation, is celebrating 10
years of operation in Belgium this month.
It is celebrating this milestone with a substantial discount, said the Q8
head office located in Antwerp, in a press release today.
On Wednesday 20 March, all customers filling up at Q8 automated filling
stations in Belgium will be given a discount of 20 cents per litre. The
operation will last 24 hours and will be implemented at all 122 Q8 automated
stations.
10 years ago, Kuwait Petroleum made a strategic decision to invest in
unmanned automated stations and became a trendsetter in Belgium, declared the
press release.
The Q8 easy stations are fully automated, the fuel prices are lower, which
benefits the customer immediately, it noted.
Kuwait Petroleum (Belgium) is one of the biggest players on the Belgian
fuel market. At the present time, it operates over 285 petrol stations under
the name Q8, as well as 122 unmanned Q8 easy stations.
Kuwait Petroleum also operates over 40 International Diesel Services
stations for the transport sector in Belgium.
As well as operating service stations, Kuwait Petroleum supplies fuel to
professional end users and retailers (Q8Mazout).
Kuwait Petroleum also sells lubricants (Q8Oils) and "special products" such
as asphalt.
Kuwait Petroleum (Belgium) belongs to the Kuwait Petroleum International
