KUWAIT, March 4 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah
Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received Monday at Sief Palace former US secretary
of State James Baker.
During the meeting, Baker forwarded to HH the Amir a letter from former US
president George Bush Senior.
In his letter, Bush Sr. recalled the formidable international rejection to
Saddam Hussein's invasion of Kuwait and the world move to liberate the Gulf
nation.
The former US president also lauded the steady growth and prosperity of
Kuwait under the wise leadership of HH the Amir Sheikh Sabah.
The meeting was attended by Diwani Amir Advisor Adel Talib Al-Tabtabae.
