BAGHDAD, Feb 25 (KUNA) -- Iraq is continuing with the development of
relations with regional countries in general and State of Kuwait in
particular, Prime Minister Nouri Al-Maliki said Monday.
"Iraq is continuing the development of relations with all countries in the
region namely with the State of Kuwait with which relations are largely
progressing," Al-Maliki said during a meeting here with UN Secretary General
Special Representative in Iraq Martin Kobler.
An official statement said Al-Maliki, meanwhile, affirmed that the Iraqi
people were rejecting all calls of violence, extremism and sectarianism.
Kobler said the UN was ready to help Iraq encourage dialogue between all
parties.
Kobler voiced relief for the progress of relations between Iraq and Kuwait.
