KUWAIT, Feb 19 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI)
hosted here on Tuesday a workshop on the concept and application of knowledge
management and its impact.
Director of the Middle East Institute of the knowledge-based economy at the
University of Brighton Dr. Allam Al-Nour Ahmed took part and gave a lecture.
Ahmed said at the workshop that Kuwait was ranked the 11th among Arab
countries in the knowledge-based economy index and 64th on the global level,
while the United Arab Emirates was ranked first among Arab countries in the
index itself. Sweden was ranked first on the global level. (end)
