PARIS, Jan 10 (KUNA) -- Libya's ambassador to France, Mansur Saif Al-Nasr received slight injuries in an incident at his embassy Thursday after three individuals roughed him up in his office, diplomatic sources confirmed here.
The individuals apparently forced their way into the ambassador's office and made unspecified demands and then physically assaulted the chief diplomat here.
Al-Nasr received slight wounds to his forehead and French police intervened and made three arrests, the source said.
"There were no serious injuries and it seems they were demanding something (financial or administrative) from the ambassador," it was indicated by the source.
No explanation was available on how the individuals got past embassy security outside and inside the building.
The three arrested are believed to be Libyan nationals. (end) jk.mt KUNA 102252 Jan 13NNNN
