KUWAIT, Jan 8 (KUNA) -- The head of the Meteorology Department of the Civil
Aviation, Mohammed Karam, expected on Tuesday that low visibility will
continue in some areas of Kuwait till the afternoon, gradually to improve in
most areas later in the day.
Karam told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), that the country is being affected by
high pressures from the northwest accompanied by cold air and dust.
He added, wind activity in central and southern Iraq helped carry the dust
toward Kuwait, lowering visibility to less than 1,00 meters earlier this
