NA foreign affairs cmte approves navigation agreement with Iraq

KUWAIT, Dec 27 (KUNA) -- The foreign affairs committee of Kuwait's National Assembly (NA) on Thursday approved an agreement to regulate navigation in the Khor Abdullah bay between the State of Kuwait and the Republic of Iraq.
The agreement has been tabled to the National Assembly for endorsement, rapporteur of the committee MP Taher Al-Failakawi told a reporter after a meeting by the committee. "The meeting also finalized a draft bill on the endorsement of the agreement on technical cooperation with Brazil and a memo with the International Monetary fund on launching an IMF center for Middle East economy and Finance in Kuwait," he revealed.
The meeting gathered representatives of the ministries of finance and communication as well as Kuwait Investment Authority (KIA) and Kuwait Airways Corporation (KAC). (end) kt.gb KUNA 271604 Dec 12NNNN
