ALGIERS, Dec 22 (KUNA) -- The Algerian army announced it has killed four
armed elements belonging to al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb state.
A local security source said that the four were killed in clashes with
security forces in the mountainous region of Bouhmama of the State of Medea
(120 kilometers south of Algiers).
It explained that the elements were part of an armed group active in the
area of Bouhmama, adding that the military personnel were pursuing the rest of
