GAZA, Dec 1 (KUNA) -- A Palestinian youth died after succumbing to injuries
he sustained due to Israeli fire east of the border town of Rafah, south of
Gaza Strip, said local media on Saturday.
Israeli forces opened fire on more than a dozen Palestinians in east Rafah
on Friday, wounding the 21-year-old Palestinian youth, along with scores of
other activists, local radios said.
The young man was moved to Abu Yousef An-Najjar Hospital, in Rafah,
suffering moderate injuries in the pelvis. He lost his life after doctors
tried in vain to save it.
This marks second Palestinian death with Israeli gunfire after the
agreement between Palestinian factions and Israel, reached in Cairo on
November 21.
On Friday, Israeli forces targeted with gunfire scores of Palestinians near
Gaza's security border. Twelve of the activists were wounded in the shooting.
