GAZA, Nov 27 (KUNA) -- Israeli forces continue violating recent truce through firing and injuring a young Palestinian east of Rafah city in Gaza Strip on Tuesday.
Israeli soldiers stationed in Karam Abu Salem east of Rafah city fired their weapons against Ashraf Zagot, 20, Palestinian medical sources told KUNA.
The sources added that one of the bullets has penetrated into Zaqot's chest. He was admitted in Abo Yousif Al-Najar hospital.
The incident is the fifth violation by Israel since the Egyptian-brokered ceasefire was concluded last Wednesday between Israel and Hamas.
The Israeli military claims Palestinian youths were attempting to penetrate the security fence surrounding Gaza. (end) mzt.mb KUNA 272101 Nov 12NNNN
