LIMA, Oct 2 (KUNA) -- The Third South American-Arab Summit (ASPA) kicked
off here Tuesday.
The Summit's final communique, to be declared at the conclusion of the
event later today, is expected to call for peaceful solutions to settle
disputes and support political and economic cooperation among Member States.
The meeting for the Council of ASPA Ministers of Foreign affairs, which
convened yesterday, worked on the final communique's draft after a dispute
witnessed during the sessions over the Iran-occupied UAE islands.
Also, the ASPA Business Forum, was held in parallel with the political
event, with more than 400 businesspersons taking part. (end)
