BAGHDAD, Aug 9 (KUNA) -- Five Iraqis were killed in separate attacks, most
devastating was a booby-trap car to the west of Baghdad, Iraqi police officer
said on Thursday.
The source told KUNA the car explosion occurred near a popular marketplace
in Al-Shurta area.
Two people were killed and nine were injured, the source added.
Separately, one person was killed and four injured in two bomb attacks in
Al-Wehda area south of Baghdad.
In another bomb attack, one was killed near a mosque in Abu Ghraib town,
west of Baghdad. (end)
