UAE Red Crescent presents aid for Syrian refugees in N. Lebanon

BEIRUT, Aug 7 (KUNA) -- The UAE Red Crescent continuously distributed aid for Syrian refugees in different parts of Lebanon on Tuesday.
The Head of UAE Red Crescent aid delegation Mohammad Al-Zarouni said the Red Crescent has provided food and medical aid in various parts of northern Lebanon and Bekaa, with the participation of the Lebanese Red Cross.
Al-Zarouni praised the role of societies, Kuwait and Gulf charities for helping Syrian refugees in Lebanon, Jordan and Turkey.
The Red Crescent had prepared a fully equipted ambulance to transfer wounded Syrians, he pointed out.
In addition to distributing seven million UAE dirhams (AED) as aid for refugees, and assisting the expenses of premature deliveries of Syrian refugee mothers in Lebanon.
