MOSCOW, July 21 (KUNA) -- Two Russian soldiers were killed Saturday in an attack by unknown militants on their patrol in Ingushetia in North Caucasus.
Another three Russian soldiers were also injured in the attack, Russia's Itar-Tass news agency cited security sources as saying.
Meanwhile, an indentified number of militants were killed in an attack by Russian policemen in the capital of Dagestan, Makhachkala, Itar-Tass reported.
The attack took place when militants hiding in a house refused to surrender to Russian policemen who had to storm the house and shoot them dead, it added. (end) as.mt KUNA 212010 Jul 12NNNN
