Obama names delegation to offer condolences after death of Saudi Crown Prince Nayef

Prince Nayef WASHINGTON, June 19 (KUNA) -- President Barack Obama on Tuesday announced the designation of a presidential delegation to Saudi Arabia to offer condolences to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, on the passing of Crown Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, deputy premier and minister of interior.
The delegation, which will participate in events in the Kingdom on Wednesday, will be led by Defense Secretary Leon Panetta, U.S. Ambassador to Saudi Arabia James Smith, Assistant to the President for Homeland Security and Counterterrorism John Brennan, Federal Bureau of Investigation Director Robert Mueller, Acting Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs Elizabeth Jones, former Central Intelligence Agency director George Tenet and former Assistant to the President for Counterterrorism and Homeland Security Frances Fragos Townsend.
