IRBIL, May 15 (KUNA) -- A member of the Kurdish security force was killed
and seven people including policemen were wounded in three separate explosions
that rocked the northern city of Kirkuk on Tuesday, police said.
Two bomb blasts targeted patrols of the security squad and the police in
the district of Al-Wasti, killing the member of the security force and
wounding a policeman, they said.
Elsewhere, an explosive charge strapped to a car blew up on the Baghdad
road south of the city. The explosion wounded owner of the car, a female
student and two policemen. (end)
