ISLAMABAD, March 30 (KUNA) -- At least four suspected militants were killed
and two were wounded in a US missile strike in Pakistan that came as Pakistan
and the US commanders met to discuss improvement in border coordination
procedures.
Security sources told KUNA that an unmanned US aircraft fired four missiles
at a house in Miramshah, the main city of North Waziristan tribal agency,
bordering Afghanistan.
The strike killed four suspected militants inside the house and wounded two
civilians.
On Wednesday, the US Centcom chief and ISAF Commander in Afghanistan met
with military chief Ashfaq Pervez Kayani to discuss improvement in border
coordination procedures.
The meeting was also aimed at mending ties between the two war allies,
which have been strained since May 2010 Salala Checkpost incident. (end)
