ISLAMABAD, March 23 (KUNA) - At least ten militants were killed and more
than twenty others were wounded in a security forces operation in South
Waziristan tribal agency, bordering Afghanistan.
Security sources told KUNA that the security forces backed by helicopter
gunships were conducting operations in the sub-division of Laddah district of
the agency. The sources added that several militant hideouts were targeted.
They noted that about seven soldiers were also wounded in still going
clashes with militants.
Sources said further that the security forces also recovered arms and
ammunition including anti-aircraft guns, missiles, and bullets during the
