WASHINGTON, Feb 20 (KUNA) -- US National Security Adviser Tom Donilon
concluded a three-day visit to Israel on Sunday for consultations with senior
Israeli officials including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Defense
Minister Ehud Barak, Chief of the General Staff Rav Aluf Benny Gantz and
National Security Adviser General Yaakov Amidror, the White House announced
Monday.
Donilon and his delegation addressed the full range of security issues of
mutual concern, said the statement from the White House press secretary's
office.
"The visit is part of the continuous and intensive dialogue between the
United States and Israel, and reflects our unshakeable commitment to Israel's
security," the statement said.
Donilon relayed to Netanyahu that President Barack Obama looks forward to
meeting with him at the White House on March 5, it said. (end)
