KUWAIT, Feb 17 (KUNA) -- Kuwait is expected in the daytime on Saturday to
witness a wave of cold southeasterly winds that will transform into active
northwesterly winds, reaching a speed of 50 km/h, according to Friday
forecasts.
The winds will carry a wave of dust, whereby sight will be limited to
horizontal, with temperatures dropping in the evening and improving at night,
head of the meteorological department at the Directorate General of Civil
Aviation, Mohammad Karam told KUNA.
Karam urged sea-goers to practice caution, as the timing of high tides is
unpredictable with the change of the winds' direction. (end)
