RIYADH, Jan 30 (KUNA) -- Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Professor Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu strongly condemned on Monday continuing of violence in Syria and killing of large number of civilians.
In press statement issued here, Ihasanoglu expressed deep concern about deterioration of the situations and what would follow afterwards of threats to Syria's security, unity, stability, and safety of its people, urging to take bold resolutions and sacrifices in favor of Syria.
He stressed that this is the responsibility of political leaderships which should sacrifice for the sake of the people, expressing at the same time his concern about continuous inability of international community to face the aggravation of crisis in Syrian.
Ihasanoglu called on the UN Security Council to take responsibility and rush in finding an exit to the Syrian crisis that would stop bloodshed and killing of innocent lives. (end) od.ma KUNA 301929 Jan 12NNNN
