ALGIERS, Jan 4 (KUNA) -- Algerian army forces seized weapons and ammunition
loaded in four SUVs on the borders with the Niger, the defense ministry said
Wednesday.
The Algerian forces, last night, intercepted a the four-vehicle convoy
which was carrying African persons who were trying to smuggle weapons and
ammunition, it added.
The seizure is part of anti-terrorism campaign, the ministry added. (end)
