KUWAIT, Oct 21 (KUNA) -- The State of Kuwait congratulated the Libyan people on Friday on the victory of their revolution and ouster of the tyrant Col. Moammar Al-Gadhafi and his regime.
Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, Acting Foreign Minister and the official spokesman of the Government, Ali Al-Rashed, expressed, in a statement, hope that the end of Al-Gadhafi's regime would constitute start of a new chapter in the history of the Libyan people for realizing their aspirations for security, stability and prosperity.
He described the ouster of Al-Gadhafi's regime as a victory for the brotherly Libyan people and usher of a new era.
The government spokesman called on the Libyans to unite and back the Transitional Council in its efforts for establishing a new ruling system, based on justice, equality and respect for legitimate rights of the people.
