SARAJEVO, April 24 (KUNA) -- Muslims of the Bosnian village of Flasnetsa on
Saturday held a funeral for 34 people whose remains were found in a mass grave
recently discovered near the village eastern Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Assistant minister for refugee affairs in the Bosnian Federation and
president of the Bosniaks in the village Hadziomerovic Mujo said in a
statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the victims had been executed by
Serb forces after they occupied the village at the beginning of the civil war
in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
He revealed that the Serb forces launched an appeal for Muslims who fled
from the village to return to it, promising not to harm them, however, the
Serb forces then brought them together in a collective detention and carried
out mass executions against them.
He pointed out that the age of the victims ranged between 14 and 77 years.
