ISTANBUL, April 16 (KUNA) -- At least one Turkish soldier was killed and another was injured in clashes with the Kurdish rebels near the southeastern border with Iraq, Turkish authorities said on Thursday.
The clashes took place close to the Kurdish majority town of Dicle, Diyar Bakr, the statement said.
Turkish forces backed by military jets rushed to Dicle to hunt down Kurdish rebels. (end) ta.mar KUNA 161154 Apr 09NNNN
