GAZA, Sept 27 (KUNA) -- Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of Islamic
Jihad, claimed responsibility Thursday for launching a missile at the Israeli
military base of Zikim in Ashkelon, southern Israel.
In a statement, the brigades said its units launched a "Quds" missile at
the military base just before midnight.
This attack is in retaliation for the Israeli crimes against Palestinians
in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, it said. (end)
