BAGHDAD, July 1 (KUNA) -- One civilian was killed and another four were
wounded on Sunday when a suicide bomber detonated the booby-trapped car he was
driving near Al-Jadriya Bridge, southwestern Baghdad.
An Iraqi police source said the driver detonated the car before arriving at
a police checkpoint, adding that several cars in the vicinity were damaged.
Earlier today, two policemen were killed and four were wounded in a bomb
explosion east of Baghdad. (end)
