KUN0026 4 GEN 0247 KUWAIT /KUNA-CQA1 CUL-KUWAIT-JORDAN-CULTURE Queen Rania will patronize Kuwait's cultural week in Jordan AMMAN, March 14 (KUNA) -- The spouse of King Abdullah II, Queen Rania Al-Abdullah will patronize the Kuwaiti Cultural Week in Jordan slated on the 21st of the current month. Kuwait's Ambassador to Jordan, Yousef Abdullah Al-Enaizi, thanked Queen Rania, for patronizing the ceremony and considered her attendance in "appreciation for Kuwait and the strong brotherly relations between the two leaderships and people". He said a high ranking Kuwaiti delegation will be taking part in the cultural week chaired by the Minister of Education and Higher Education, Dr. Rasheed Al-Hamad, and including the advisor of H.H. the Prime Minister, Dr. Yousef Al-Ibrahim, Editor in Chief of "Al-Arabi" magazine Dr.Sulaiman Al-Askari and Dr.Badriya Al-Awadi. Al-Enaizi added taht the delegation also included Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at the National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) Ibrahim Dabdoub, Head of Kuwait's Formative Arts Society Mahmoud Al-Radwan, Dr.Abdelaziz Al-Enezi from the Ministry of Health, Engineer Haifa' Al-Mudaf from Kuwait's Institute for Scientific Researches (KISR), Poet Talal Al-Saeed and many other Kuwaiti figures and artists. Al-Enaizi said this cultural week which is organized by Kuwait's cultural bureau includes several activities such as political, economic and social seminars, Poetic nights, artistic exhibitions, Book fairs and theater plays. Dr.Al-Hamad will also be officially inaugurating Kuwait's cultural bureau in Amman. Dr.Al-Hamad and his Jordanian counterpart Dr.Khalid Touqan will be participating in a seminar titled "Public Education in Kuwait and Jordan ... reality and ambitions". The seminar will be organized by Head of Human resources Development center in Jordan, Monther Al-Masri. For his part, Dr.Sulaiman Al-Askari from Kuwait and Sedqi Hattab from Jordan will take part in a seminar titled "Kuwait and its role in supporting Arab Culture". The seminar is chaired by Dr.Mahmoud Al-Samrah. Dr.Mohammed al-Awadi will present a lecture titled "Arab brotherhood". with regards to the economy, H.H the Prime Minister's advisor Dr.Yousef al-Ibrahim will participate in a seminar titled "the role of Kuwait's Economy in Arab Development". CEO of NBK Ibrahim Dabdoub will take part in another seminar on the "development of the banking industry, monetary and financial policies in Kuwait. For her part, Dr.Badriyah Al-Awadi will be lecturing on the "role of Kuwaiti woman in the public life". During this lecture which is chaired by the Minister of state Asma Kuder, Dr.Mohammed Alwan from Jordan will be taking part. Dr.Abdelaziz AL-Enezi's lecture will be on "AIDS .. past, present and future", Engineer Haifa Al-Mudaf's lecture on "Scientific research in Kuwait and Mahmoud Al-Radwan on the "experience of formative arts". Kuwait's Poet Talal Al-Saeed will have a poetic night on the Jordanian University theater. Students from the Higher Institute for Theatrical Arts in Kuwait will participate in two plays "Mona Lisa" and "Samri" and a troupe representing the Ministry of Education in Kuwait will take part in a "Caricature" play.
